DoubleTree by Hilton

Project overview
Repositioning an established asset for its next chapter
344 rooms | Singapore | Operational
Wee Hur’s investment in DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore located near Robertson Quay marks the Group’s first investment in the hospitality sector. The former Hotel Miramar is undergoing an extensive refurbishment and repositioning into a 344-room, four-star hotel, which will become Singapore’s first DoubleTree by Hilton when it opens.
The investment provides Wee Hur with exposure to an established Singapore hospitality asset and the potential uplift from repositioning the property under an internationally recognised hotel brand. The Group holds a significant minority interest and participates in the hotel’s income through a direct income-sharing arrangement.
Why Hospitality?
The investment expands Wee Hur’s exposure to recurring hospitality income while providing potential value creation through the repositioning of an existing real estate asset. It also reflects the Group’s approach of entering new sectors selectively alongside experienced partners, while retaining flexibility over the long-term ownership of the investment.
